Hello again,,,
I have few knowledge about communication technology which is used in our life. There are bluetooth, GSM, RF module and etc.
What i had research about Bluetooth wireless technology is types of networking and communication that is popular standard in the communication arena and it is convenient, easy to use and has the bandwidth to meet most of today's demands for mobile and personal communications. Bluetooth technology handles the wireless part of the communication channel, it transmits and receives data wirelessly between these devices. It delivers the received data and receives the data to be transmitted to and from a host system through a host controller intergace (HCI).
About the GSM, (Global System for Mobile communications) is an open, digital cellular technology used for transmitting mobile voice and data services. GSM supports voice calls and data transfer speeds of up to 9.6 kbps, together wuth the transmission of SMS (Short Message Service). The use of harmonised spectrum across most of the globe, combined with GSM's international roaming capability, allows travellers to access the same mobile services at home and abroad.
For the RF module (Radio Frequency Module) is a small electronic circuit used to transmit and receive radio signals on one of a number of carrier frequencies. RF Modules are widely used in electronic design owing to the difficulty of designing radio circuitry. Design engineers will design a circuit for an application which requires radio communication and then "drop in" a radio module rather than attempt a discrete design, saving time and money on development. RF Modules are most often used in medium and low volume products for consumer applications such as garage door openers, wireless alarm systems, industrial remote controls, smart sensor applications and wireless home automation systems.
I have to choose which one is suitable for my project which is Graphical User Interface for Monitoring Data in Smartphone. As we all know, smartphone already has its own networking system. And now, we just have to build transmitter for it to receive the data into the smartphone.
That's all for now....See you again in next week....
